What We Do

Food Security

We take the issue of agriculture very seriously and as such we promote a number of agricultural activities such as training of communities in composite manure making and crop management and production.

Economic Empowerment

FOCOLD recognizes that greater economic and financial independence and economic stability for vulnerable community especially youth and women in the rural areas at the same time addressing poverty in the society is very paramount.

No society in the world has done well in reducing poverty without first providing widespread basic education. Education helps to empower the poor, to enhance their income-earning potential, and to improve the quality of their lives.

FOCOLD works with Health service providers in Health centers and communities in the 3 districts namely Blantyre, Mwanza and Neno, where the organization has contributed to a number of changes as far access to SRHR services is concern.
