Emily Tembo of Tikondane Economic support group is one of the women benefited from training in modern farming which include manure making, and as soon as she got the training she managed to make Mbeya manure which she applied to her garden. She said Mbeya Manure is very effective as it can be applied first and second and brings bumper yields despite the climate change season which has been erratic and full of dry spell and floods.
Manure making and utilization has proved to be of great importance as the crops are not prone to inadequate rainfall. Emily said that she has always harvest good and enough food for her household.
