Agriculture is the backbone/hub of the economy, you cannot discuss the economic development of the household and community in Malawi without talking about Agriculture, As for FOCOLD we take the issue of agriculture very seriously and as such we promote a number of agricultural activities such as training of communities in composite manure making and crop management and production, we also provided goats and trained families in livestock management, We also promote agribusiness through agree business training, The intervention has contributed to positive changes in agriculture commercialization, food production and livestock production, this has contributed to improved livelihood among the underprivileged households in communities as well as income levels.
