FOCOLD is doing environmental conservation and reforestation in a number of communities in rural communities in Malawi including Blantyre district, we believe climate change needs our solution and as such FOCOLD promote bee keeping and honey making where women and youth are empowered to take care of the forest and nature resources such as trees and they are also involved in planting more trees. And one of the better solution is beekeeping initiative which is meant to improve income and the livelihood of women and youth considering that poverty has a big hand in environmental degradation as most of communities are involved/doing charcoal making activities.
